Plants filter the air, but keeping them alive is work. So I built a self-sustaining hydroponic wall that does the work for me—packaged inside a frame inspired by the world’s most mysterious ancient text: the Voynich Manuscript.
Behind the real ferns, moss, and NASA-approved air-purifying plants lies a fully automated machine. Hidden tubes water the roots for 15 minutes every 6 hours. No soil. No mess. Built-in sensors monitor humidity, while faint, etched symbols of strange, non-existent vines glow softly under purple grow lights when the room goes dark.
It doesn’t need me. It only needs to be looked at. A machine that breathes. A living artifact.
What do you think? Is it modern technology or an ancient mystery brought to life?
