Vancouver is one of the most expensive cities in North America. But with the right strategies, you can save money without giving up a good life.

In this video, we share 7 practical tips to cut costs on transportation, rent, groceries, eating out, clothing, entertainment, and utilities.

🚗 TRANSPORTATION: Use Evo or Modo instead of owning a car. Bike lanes are expanding.

🏠 RENT: Negotiate. Landlords are struggling to find tenants. Move in winter for better deals.

🛒 GROCERIES: No Frills, FreshCo, Costco, and the Flashfood app can save you $50/week.

🍽️ EATING OUT: Happy hour (3-6 PM) and Too Good To Go app are game changers.

👕 CLOTHING: Thrift stores and Facebook Marketplace “free” section are gold mines.

🎉 ENTERTAINMENT: Free outdoor concerts, art gallery by donation, and city events.

💡 UTILITIES: Thermostat settings and LED bulbs save $30-40/month.

Small changes add up. You can do this.

Prime Minister Mark Carney has called three federal by-elections for April 13, 2026. The Liberals currently hold 169 seats – just three seats short of a majority government.

If the Liberals win all three, Carney could govern without facing another election for up to three years. The NDP is calling this “a manipulation of democracy.”

From an NDP perspective, this video examines why Carney is avoiding a general election, how floor crossings undermine voter intent, and what working-class Canadians stand to lose under a majority government with no opposition.

📊 KEY FACTS:
• Current Liberal seats: 169 | Majority needed: 172
• Three Conservative MPs crossed the floor to join the Liberals
• Terrebonne, Quebec: Liberals won by ONE VOTE in 2025. Supreme Court ordered a do-over.
• If Liberals win all three: No election for three years. No opposition. No accountability.

❓ NDP QUESTIONS:
• Why is Carney afraid of a general election?
• Is it democratic to pass laws for three years without facing voters?
• What happens to workers, renters, and patients when there is no opposition?

Avi Lewis won the federal NDP leadership on March 29, 2026, securing 54 percent on the final ranked ballot in Winnipeg. Heather McPherson finished second with 32 percent. Rob Ashton came third. The members voted. He won.

But within hours, anonymous quotes started appearing in the media. MPs and party insiders, speaking off the record, began attacking their new leader. “He’s never won an election.” “This was a mistake.” The sources were not Conservatives or Liberals. They were inside the NDP.

This video examines the critics and their own records.

🔴 NAHEED NENSHI:
• Mayor of Calgary for 11 years
• Never won a provincial or federal election
• Ran for Alberta NDP leadership in 2024 – finished third
• Under his leadership: Calgary’s downtown vacancy hit 30%, homelessness increased, transit ridership dropped

🔴 CHARLIE ANGUS:
• MP since 2004 – 22 years in Parliament
• What has he delivered for northern Ontario?
• Mining towns are closing
• Indigenous communities lack clean water
• The Trans-Canada Highway remains dangerous

🔴 ALEXANDRE BOULERICE:
• NDP’s only Quebec MP
• Worried about a leader who doesn’t speak French
• But the NDP went from 59 seats in Quebec in 2011 to just 1 seat today

🔴 LABOUR MOVEMENT:
• Union membership dropped from 38% in the 1980s to 29% today
• The coalition critics want to protect is already gone

❓ THE QUESTION:
The members voted. They chose Avi Lewis. If the critics wanted someone else, they should have convinced more members. Instead, they are now trying to weaken the leader the party chose.

Maybe the members are not naive. Maybe they are tired of the same voices, the same strategies, the same results. Maybe they want something different because what the old guard has been offering is not working.

Beyond Vancouver’s glass towers lies a forgotten British Columbia. Where nature slowly reclaims industry. Where trains rust in forests. Where ghost towns fade into mountains. Where history waits to be rediscovered.

In this video, we explore four of BC’s most iconic abandoned locations:

🚂 WHISTLER TRAIN WRECK
Seven boxcars derailed in 1956. Left to rot. Then artists arrived. Graffiti transformed rusted metal into an accidental outdoor gallery. Deep in the forest, moss grows over wheels. Trees wrap around frames. A short hike from Whistler Village.

🏚️ IOCO TOWNSITE – PORT MOODY
A company town built for oil workers. Families lived here. Children played on these streets. The refinery closed in the 1980s. The people left. Now? Dilapidated homes line empty roads. Porches sag. Weeds grow through driveways. A haunting time capsule of BC’s industrial past.

⛴️ OLD ALBION FERRY DOCKS – FRASER RIVER
Before the Golden Ears Bridge, this was the crossing. Cars lined up. Families waited. The ferry ran for decades. Then the bridge arrived. The docks were abandoned. Now they sit in marshlands. Wooden ramps leading nowhere. Pylons sinking into mud. Birds nest where cars once stood.

⛰️ SANDON – KOOTENAYS
The holy grail of BC ghost towns. Built on silver in the 1890s. Thousands lived here. Hotels. Saloons. An opera house. Then the silver ran out. Fires came. Floods washed half the town away. Today? Rusted classic cars sit half-buried. Foundations peek through soil. A museum and caretaker protect what remains.

These sites remind us that while BC builds forward, history hides in our own backyard. Waiting to be rediscovered.

Between March 2 and March 10, 2026, three synagogues and the U.S. Consulate in Toronto were targeted in shootings. The attacks happened late at night, mostly at empty buildings. Following the incidents, the federal government announced $10 million in funding to help Jewish institutions enhance security.

But the timing and nature of these attacks raise serious questions.

🔴 RABBI DAVID MIVASAIR’S QUESTION:
“Even though no one knows that shots fired late at night at empty synagogue buildings were not false flag ops, politicians want to signal their buy-in to the Zionist organizations’ narratives.”

🔴 JOHNNY GRAZ’S ALLEGATION:
“Toronto Zionists are staging false flags in advance of the authoritarian Bills 9 and 63, both of which criminalize opposition to Israel and criticism of Zionism. Why else would Israel’s president and FM be commenting on a local vandalism case?”

🔴 QUESTIONS THAT NEED ANSWERS:
• Why did Israel’s President Herzog comment on local vandalism in Toronto?
• Why did Foreign Minister Chikli accuse Canada of ignoring antisemitism?
• Do Bill 9 and Bill 63 target criticism of Israel?
• Why were all attacks on empty synagogues late at night?
• Is the $10 million fund a response to real threats, or a way to strengthen a narrative?

Tucker Carlson implied Netanyahu dragged Trump into war. He was immediately labeled “antisemitic.” The ADL accuses shareholders who criticize Israel’s arms sales of antisemitism.

Now Toronto synagogues are shot. Money flows. Laws are coming.

Coincidence? Or planned?
